Stratus is a drop style with twisted glass bead fringe and little freshwater pearls on long 24k gold vermeil hooks. Due to the irregularity of the pearls, each earring is one of a kind.

Each style in the Silver Lining collection is named after a type of cloud. The Stratus cloud is an airy, expansive, looming cloud filled with supercooled water droplets or ice crystals, ready to let it rain at any moment.

Gold vermeil is a high quality gold-finish that is composed of a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver. The thickness of the gold portion is what really sets vermeil jewelry apart from simple gold plated pieces. The thickness of the gold portion must be at least 2.5 microns, which makes it longer lasting than other gold finishes, and is a great alternative to solid gold. With much wear, over time your piece will fade to a soft light gold.
